Fraser Valley Kings Summer Camps offer a variety of high-quality, on-ice programs designed to help players develop their skills, build confidence, and prepare for the upcoming hockey season. Camp offerings may include Edge & Power Skating, Elite Shooting & Puck Skills, Elite Defensive Skills, Elite Season Prep, and Power Skating & Super Skills.

Each program focuses on key areas of player development, from skating, speed, and edge control to shooting, puck handling, positioning, game awareness, and team tactics. With age-specific programming for players from U9 to U18, our camps provide structured, high-tempo training in a positive and progressive environment.

Summer camp programming is held at Summit Centre in Abbotsford, BC. Camp dates, schedules, and registration information are released annually.

camp type description:

EDGE & POWER

This program is geared toward players striving for excellence on the ice. It features high-intensity, explosive power skating and advanced edge work. Players will develop efficiency, acceleration, speed, and overall skating performance while integrating elite hockey fundamentals

ELITE SHOOTING & PUCK SKILLS

Designed for serious players who want to improve their scoring ability. This camp focuses on proper shooting mechanics and puck control, breaking down complex skills into easy-to-learn components. Players will gain speed, power, accuracy, and confidence with the puck

ELITE DEFENSIVE SKILLS & CHECKING

A comprehensive camp focused on developing strong defensive players. Training includes specialized skating for defensemen, body contact, 1-on-1 play, defending against multiple attackers, outlet passing, shot blocking, and effective defensive tactics.

ELITE SEASON PREP

Ideal for players preparing for rep-level hockey or higher. This camp combines individual skills and team tactics to help players perform at their best heading into the season. Focus areas include skating, shooting, passing, checking, and positional play.

POWER SKATING & SUPER SKILLS

A well-rounded program designed to prepare players for the season through a strong mix of skating development and individual skill work. Players will build confidence and improve overall performance heading into evaluations.

Credit card payment
Head to our shop/registration page and select the Recreation Development Team that applies to the type of payment you wish to make (deposit or full payment), and follow the steps to register. If you register with just the deposit, Erin will contact you at a later date for the rest of payment.
